Glasgow School of Art’s Painting and Printmaking Students present Glasgow’s inaugural Painting Parade, 10th May 2019

To celebrate the move from the Tontine Building campus to Stow College Building, Glasgow School of Art’s Painting and Printmaking Students are undertaking a Painting Parade across Glasgow where participants will walk the route alongside their own paintings (carried, pushed, dragged, worn or conceived on route.) The parade is in collaboration with Artist Collective LKL (based in London).

The public are invited to get involved with the parade as it follows the route to engage in conversation with the artists about the move, their artworks and the longstanding relationship between Glasgow and art.

The parade will take place on Friday 10th of May, starting at the Tontine Building at 2pm, making stops at the Glasgow City Chambers, Garnethill Multicultural Centre and finishing at Stow College at 4pm.
